These can include returning the product to the manufacturer, having the product repaired or replaced, or receiving additional parts or instructions. How long do I have to file a Charlotte product liability claim?
Any victim injured by a defective product in North Carolina must file a claim within three years from when the injury occurred, per the state statute of limitations for personal injury. However, there is also an overall statute of repose of 12 years in place for product liability claims.
