Lauren Monosoff
Attorney
Lauren Monosoff brings nearly two decades of legal experience dedicated to advocating for individuals and families. A Charlotte native, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Columbia University before obtaining her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, where she served on the Journal of Law and Policy and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.
Lauren began her career in public service, spending eight years as a public defender and then five years representing children in neglect, abuse, and custody cases. After returning to North Carolina in 2024, she continued her advocacy by representing students and families navigating education-related challenges.
Now, Lauren focuses her practice on helping people who have been injured through no fault of their own. She draws on her broad background in litigation, negotiation, and client-centered advocacy to pursue justice and fair compensation for her clients.
Outside the office, Lauren enjoys reading, crafting, and attempting to train her family’s spirited dog, Cosmo. She also treasures time spent with her husband and two children.
